Mid / South Canterbury Secondary Schools Duathlon
Wednesday 14th October
We're excited to launch the inaugural South / Mid Canterbury Schools Duathlon in 2026, delivered in partnership with Canterbury Primary School Sport and Timaru Triathlon Club.
The event will take place at the fantastic Levels Raceway just outside Timaru, providing a safe, traffic-free venue where athletes can race on smooth, purpose-built roads without having to worry about vehicles.
We've intentionally designed the course distances to be achievable for first-time participants while still providing an exciting challenge for experienced and competitive athletes. Whether you're giving duathlon a go for the first time or aiming for the podium, there's a race for you!
The day will be split into two sessions:
Morning: Primary and Intermediate School events
Afternoon: Secondary School events

We can't wait to welcome students from across South and Mid Canterbury for an exciting day of racing, fun, and school competition! We are also happy for students from North Otago to participate.
VOLUNTEERS - to make this event happen we need volunteers to help with marshalling, set up, pack down and other tasks. If you can help please put your name down in the form below. Schools entering 3 or more students are required to supply a marshal.
