“Canterbury Triathletes supporting each other to learn and improve in a fun and inclusive way”
Our development programme is designed for secondary school students of all ages and abilities. At the end of Year 9, athletes can choose to remain in the junior programme or progress into the development squad.
We aim to support both athletes with performance goals and those who simply want to enjoy triathlon as their summer sport. The programme also provides a pathway for students transitioning from single-discipline sports such as swimming, cycling, or running — we’ll help you gradually build the skills and confidence to race triathlon.
Training is delivered by our experienced coaching team, with two coaches present at road-based sessions to ensure we can cater to a wide range of abilities and give every athlete the attention they need.
